Environmental certifications and programs have become well-known in the last few decades. Many see them as undue costs, but they can serve as a vehicle to convey a “green” sensibility to your customers and clients. Many customers want to know that what they purchase is not damaging environment or that, at a minimum, the companies they purchase from are doing their part to reduce waste and consider the environment when making business decisions. In fact, some companies have policies to only work with other companies that have and can prove that they meet a certain environmental action criterion.
